My goodness it is freezing today. The current outside temperature is 13°C (about 55 °F). We are not cold-weather-loving people! Brr.

Yes, I've heard that there are a few places on this earth colder than this city but it is so hard to fathom what they would be like. I can't even imagine coping with being snowed in, for instance... but I have seen pictures of this phenomenon :)
It's summer here, and last night the temperature got down to 14C. Give us a few months and we'll be happy if the high reaches 14F!
